HOW WE OPERATE
Why We Run a US and Pakistan Manufacturing Model
Our team in the United States owns sourcing, quoting, quality standards, and every conversation you have about your order.
Our facility in Pakistan owns pattern making, cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing. You get the reply speed and accountability you expect from clothing manufacturers in the USA, paired with the machine capacity and cost structure of a factory built for volume.
That split solves the problem most founders run into. US apparel manufacturers with domestic sewing rooms often price a first run beyond what a new label can fund, while offshore factories leave you emailing a production floor across a twelve-hour gap. We are a single clothing manufacturing company on both ends, not a middleman passing your file to a factory you never speak to.

FULL PACKAGE PRODUCTION
Garment Categories We Produce In-House
We work as a full package garment manufacturer, which means we source the fabric and trims, make the patterns, and run the stitching in-house rather than sending pieces out to third parties.
Fabric Inspection on Arrival
- Weight and shade checks
- Flaw mapping before cutting
In-Line Checks During the Run
- Seam strength and stitch density
- Print and embroidery placement
How We Catch Faults Before You Do
Quality is a process, not a promise, so here ours is in order. Fabric is checked on arrival for weight, shade, and visible flaws before it reaches the cutting table. Cut panels are measured against the approved pattern, and any batch outside tolerance goes back before stitching starts.
During the run, line supervisors pull finished pieces at set intervals to check seam strength, stitch density, measurements, and print or embroidery placement. At the end, every garment is inspected individually for loose threads, faulty trims, zip function, and shade variation between batches, then folded and bagged to your spec.
That final step is what separates high-quality clothing manufacturers from factories that inspect a handful of pieces and assume the rest matches. It is also the reason buyers who have been burned once ask about our checkpoints before they ask about price.
4 Stage
How We Take Your Idea into Production
Send us what you have. A full tech pack is ideal, but sketches, reference garments, or photos with measurements are enough for our team to build the spec with you. We confirm fabric, trims, size range, and target cost before anything is cut.
Sampling takes 15 to 20 business days. That window lets our pattern team correct fit and finishing while a mistake still costs one garment instead of three hundred. You approve a physical sample you can try on and measure, not a digital mockup.
Bulk production runs 20 to 25 business days and starts only after that approval. Panels are checked against the pattern at cutting, supervisors pull pieces mid-line to verify seams and print placement, and every garment is inspected for loose threads, faulty trims, and shade variation before packing.
Delivery follows your packing instructions, folded or hung, poly bagged and cartoned, with shipping arranged to your warehouse or fulfillment center.
OUR FACTORY
Inside Our Production Facility
Cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing all happen under one roof at a site we operate ourselves, across 50,000 production space and 12+ running lines.
Capacity reaches one million pieces a month, so a small reorder does not sit behind a larger client waiting for a slot. The floor carries 180 lockstitch machines, 40 overlock machines, and 20 flatlock machines, alongside automatic fabric-cutting equipment and band-knife cutters. Embroidery and screen printing handled on site rather than truck to a decorator, which removes a transit stage from your schedule.
Fabric and trims come from local mills and approved imported suppliers, so alternative materials can be sourced when required, with any longer lead times quoted before you commit. Several styles run side by side, which means a brand ordering three designs are not waiting for the first to clear the line before the second begins.
- Industrial sewing machines including single needle, overlock, and flatlock systems
- Multi-head embroidery machines supporting up to 15 thread colors
- Professional screen printing and sublimation printing equipment
- Automated cutting tables with CAD-based pattern making systems
MOQ AND PRICING
How Small You Can Start and What Drives the Price
Our minimum order is 100 to 300 pieces per color and design, split across 2 to 3 mixed sizes. The exact figure inside that range depends on the garment. A basic tee sits at the lower end. A denim or leather program with heavy trims and wash work sits higher, because the setup cost per style is higher.
In practice, this means you can launch a single hoodie in black across small, medium, and large without funding a thousand-piece run. Test the design, sell through, then reorder. Most custom clothing suppliers quote a headline price and add trims, labels, and packaging later.
We cost the full garment once we know fabric weight, construction, branding, and finishing, so the figure you approve is the figure you pay.
- 4-point fabric inspection for all incoming materials

BRANDS WE BUILD FOR
Who We Work With
Startup labels come to us with one design and a limited budget. They need honest costing, a sample they can photograph and sell from, and a run small enough to survive if the first drop moves slowly. We quote those jobs the same way we quote large ones.
Growing custom clothing, brands come to us with repeated orders, multiple SKUs, and seasonal calendars. For them, the value is consistent measurements across reorders, patterns kept on file, and a production schedule they can plan a launch around. Both types of buyers get the same team and the same inspection standard.

WHY RAVEL Apparel
Why Work with a Newer Manufacturer
Ravel Apparel is a young operation. We do not have a decade of client logos to show you, and we are not going to borrow anyone else's. What we do have is a reason to get your first run right that a factory with a full order book does not.
You deal with the people running your order rather than an account layer sitting three steps from the floor. When a seam changes or a fabric gets substituted, the explanation comes from someone who watched it happen.
The proof is the sample. You are not asked to trust a portfolio you cannot verify. You hold the garment, wash it, measure it, and decide from there. Custom clothing brands that start with us commit to nothing larger until that piece passes.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is your minimum order quantity?
We produce 100 to 300 pieces per color and design, spread across 2 to 3 mixed sizes. Fabric mills sell by the roll, and every style needs its own pattern, marker, and line setup, so orders below that range cost more per unit than they are worth to you.
How long does sampling take, and how long is bulk production?
Sampling runs 20 to 25 business days, and bulk production runs 25 to 30 business days. These stages are sequential, not overlapping. Bulk starts only after you approve the sample, so plan both windows plus shipping when you set a launch date.
Can I see a physical sample before bulk production
Yes. We send a stitched garment for you to try on, measure, wash, and photograph. No bulk order moves forward on a digital mockup alone.
Is production based in the US or overseas?
Our support, sourcing, and account team is based in the United States. All manufacturing happens at our facility in Pakistan. We are not a domestic sewing house, and we do not present ourselves as one.
Do you offer private label and custom branding?
Yes. As a private label clothing manufacturer, we produce garments under your brand name with your labels, tags, and packaging applied during finishing, so stock arrives ready to sell with no relabeling on your side.
What garment categories do you manufacture?
T-shirts, sportswear, hoodies, leather goods, loungewear, jeans and denim. If your product sits close to one of these, send the details and our team will confirm whether our lines can build it.
What do I need to provide to get a quote?
Product type, quantity, design files or sketches, fabric requirements, size range, branding details, and your target delivery date. The more of that you send, the closer the first quote lands to the final cost.
Let Us Cost Your Design
Send us your design and quantity, and our US team will come back with costing, fabric options, and a realistic schedule. Ravel is a custom apparel manufacturer that handles the whole job, from the first stitched sample to packed cartons, with minimums of 100 pieces per design and every unit made at our own facility.
